A tandoor doesn’t have to be confined to a restaurant kitchen.
For new-build and kitchen projects, we can work with homeowners and kitchen professionals to explore incorporating a domestic tandoor into the kitchen design, subject to the appropriate appliance specifications, ventilation, heat protection and installation requirements.

Irish Tandoor Academy provides restaurant-grade recipes and techniques for tandoori ovens and charcoal barbecue grills, covering dishes such as seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb chops and other traditional grilled foods.
Our recipes focus on the details that matter — preparation, marinading, skewering, heat control and cooking technique.
And when a recipe calls for specialist ingredients or equipment, our aim is to make those available directly through the Academy.
Professional & Home-Cook Training
Knowing how to operate a tandoor properly is a skill.
Irish Tandoor Academy will provide practical training for professional chefs and home cooks, from understanding and operating the oven to preparing, skewering and cooking food to restaurant standards.
For restaurants, this can also provide a practical route to training chefs who have limited previous tandoor experience.
Tandoor Repairs & Engineering
Commercial tandoors work hard, and eventually components need servicing or replacing.
We offer access to tandoor repair and engineering support, including diagnosis, repairs and replacement parts.
We have Tandoori Ovens available to rent while your old tandoor gets repaired.
Engineer call-outs are currently available in Dublin and surrounding areas, with wider coverage planned as the service develops.
